2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • Visitors browsing the Platform without an account
  • Property owners who register and manage listings
  • Users who submit contact or property enquiry forms
  • Anyone who communicates with us by email, phone, or WhatsApp

This policy does not apply to third-party websites, apps, or services linked from our Platform (such as Google Maps or social media platforms). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information you provide directly

When you create a Property Owner account, we may collect your full name, email address, mobile phone number, WhatsApp number, password (stored in encrypted or hashed form), profile photo (optional), and address (optional).

When you verify your account, we send a one-time password (OTP) to your email for registration, login, password reset, or email change verification.

When you list a property, we may collect property title, description, pricing, features, images, videos, location details (state, district, city, pincode, map coordinates), and other listing details you choose to provide.

When you contact us or submit an enquiry, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, message content, property interest, budget range (optional), and the property you are enquiring about (if applicable).

3.2 Information collected automatically

When you use the Platform, we may automatically collect:

  • Device and browser type
  • IP address
  • Pages visited, search filters used, and general usage activity
  • Referring URLs and approximate location derived from IP address
  • Authentication session data (such as login tokens stored in your browser)

3.3 Location information

If you choose to use features such as “Use my current location” for property search, we may access your device's geolocation only with your permission through your browser. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time in your device or browser settings.

Property listings may also display map coordinates and embedded maps (via third-party map services) when location data has been provided for a listing.

Property listings you publish may be visible to the public. Enquiry information you submit about a property may be shared with Property Manthra staff and, where relevant, with the property owner or assigned agent handling that listing.

5.3 For legal reasons

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, government authority, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Property Manthra, our users, or others.

5.4 Business transfers

If Property Manthra is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

  • Account data is retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter.
  • OTP records are retained only for the short period needed for verification and security.
  • Enquiry and contact form submissions are retained to respond to you and maintain business records.
  • Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of the relevant analytics provider.

You may request deletion of your account or certain data, subject to legal and operational requirements (see Section 8).
